Territory showcases eHealth success story

Health administrators from around the country are visiting Katherine to view first-hand the roll-out of the Shared Electronic Health Record (SEHR) in the Territory.

RDH leads nation in new hospital medical technology
30 October 2007
Royal Darwin Hospital is the first hospital in the country to use an on-line medication system that will see doctors and nurses using laptops at bedsides to improve patient care.
The new system was successfully trialled in the Special Care Nursery and Paediatric Wards and with a tick of approval from doctors and nurses is now being rolled out across the hospital.
